"It is waste of time to talk" says Naga Chaitanya about a film with Parasuram
Director Parasuram who earlier directed Geetha Govindam and Sarkaru Vaari Pata, announced a project with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya about a year ago
HYDERABAD: Director Parasuram who earlier directed Geetha Govindam and Sarkaru Vaari Pata, announced a project with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya about a year ago, but it did not come to fruition amidst various reports and speculation. While some sources claimed that Naga Chaitanya left due to issues with the script, others hinted at his dissatisfaction. But, Naga Chaitanya finally broke his silence over the same.
During a promotional interview regarding his next film Custody, the actor was asked about the issues with Parasuram. He candidly replied that "talking about this subject is a waste of time and that there is nothing to explain— no particular reason, just wasted effort."
At the same time, Chay asked to move on to another question, believing that everything that needed to be said had already been discussed.
It appears that Naga Chaitanya faced a setback with the director as he waited for an extended period to receive the script and collaborate, becoming frustrated when his efforts were not rewarded.
Parasuram later approached Mahesh Babu, leaving Naga Chaitanya behind. So far, the director has not responded to the issue and there are still clouds on his next project.
