Jagapathi Babu announces his 'third innings'

HYDERABAD: Jagapathi Babu has been working in the Telugu film industry for more than four decades. During his first innings, he shot to popularity as a family hero and delivered many family entertainers.

He started his second innings with the film Legend. During his second innings, Jaggu Bhai played various negative and supporting roles. Many of these films brought him a wide reputation as well.

Now, the actor says that he is ready for his third innings. While releasing the first look poster of his upcoming movie Rudhrangi, Jagapathi Babu said that people are going to witness his third innings with this film.

"Another wild negative role but a positive step up to my career...I have Highest of hopes that public will welcome this violent family drama. #Rudrangi belongs to me," tweeted Jagapathi babu while releasing the motion poster.

"first innings chusaru, second innings chusaru, third innnings chudabothunaru.. mee #BheemRaoDhora from #Rudrangi movie," he further added.

He plays a role named Bheem Rao Dhora in the movie. Touted to be a violent family drama, Rudrangi features Vimala Raman, Mamta Mohan Das and Aashish Gandhi in the other lead roles. TRS MLA Rasamayi Balakishan is bankrolling the film. Ajay Samrat is directing the project.
