HYDERABAD: Anushka Shetty's new film "Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty" has seen multiple delays but finally graced theaters on September 7. Directed by P. Mahesh Babu, the movie stars Naveen Polishetty as the hero. The film opened to a positive response from everyone, marking Anushka's comeback in style.
However, "Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty" faced stiff competition in theaters from another major release, "Jawan." Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan too opened big at the box office.
Both these films have already secured deals with OTT platforms. Netflix has acquired the streaming rights for "Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty" and "Jawan."
Typically, movies appear on OTT platforms within a month of their theatrical release, and their availability can depend on the film's performance. If the movies receive a positive response in theaters, they may be available for digital streaming towards the end of September or the early weeks of October.
