Jonathan Majors heaps praises on India's favourite RRR

HYDERABAD: Jonathan Majors, who is playing the role of Kang the Conqueror in the upcoming film "Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantunmaina," has expressed his admiration for Indian films, especially the recent film "RRR." In an interview, he said that he watched the film multiple times and was impressed by the performances of Jr NTR and Ram Charan. He also mentioned that he is open to recommendations for other Indian films to watch.

Regarding his role as the main villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Jonathan said that it is a great opportunity to follow in the footsteps of other iconic villains like Thanos and Loki. He acknowledged the impact that Thanos and Josh Brolin had on the cinematic experience and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to continue the legacy. He added that while it is difficult to compare himself to Thanos, he welcomes the comparison and is determined to make Kang a memorable villain in the MCU.

RRR earned huge recognition at the International level. With the film grabbing a Golden Globe for the Naatu Naatu song, and also an Oscar nomination, there is a huge buzz surrounding the film.

SS Rajamouli directed the film RRR and DVV Danayya bankrolled the movie.
