Kamal Haasan joins Indian 2 sets

After being halted for almost two years, director Shankar and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's ambitious flick, Indian 2 went on the floors recently. Initially, Shankar completed a minor schedule. Recently, the makers have kickstarted another schedule.

Kamal joined the sets the other day and shared the news on social media. He shared a video showing a glimpse of himself and Shankar from the sets. "Indian 2 from today," he captioned the post.

Indian 2 is an ambitious project for both Kamal and Shankar. It is a sequel to their blockbuster flick Indian (1996). However, Indian 2 faced many hurdles from the start. Eventually, it was halted for almost a couple of years.

Now, all the issues are sorted and the film's shoot is progressing in a smooth way. Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet and Siddharth play the other important roles in the movie.

Indian 2 is being produced by Subhaskaran and Udayanidhi Stalin under their respective banners Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for it.
