HYDERABAD: Director Nitesh Tiwari has started work on his highly anticipated mythological film "Ramayana." Recent reports suggest that the actor Yash from "KGF" has been approached to play the role of Raavan. If Yash agrees to join the project, this will be his first role in the film industry. The entire film fraternity is waiting to witness the updates regarding who plays the leads in the film.

The filmmakers are eager to have Yash on board for the role of Raavan and are currently in talks with Ranbir Kapoor to play Lord Ram. Although Ranbir is reportedly interested in the project, he wants to wait for further developments before making a decision, as the film is expected to be on a grand scale.

There are unconfirmed reports that Yash is impressed with the "Ramayana" epic and its pre-visualization and is in regular contact with the team.

A decision from Yash is expected in two months regarding this project. The official announcement on the same will be out soon.
