Krithi Shetty to team up with Naga Chaitanya

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya joined hands with Tamil director Venkat Prabhu for a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. This project was announced a couple of months ago. It marks Chay's debut in Tamil cinema and Venkat Prabhu's entry into Telugu cinema. Tentatively called NC 22, this movie is being bankrolled by Srinivasaa Chitturi.

The makers have announced two important updates of this movie today. It was officially announced that happening actress Krithi Shetty will be playing the female lead in this flick. This is going to be her second film with Chaitanya, after Bangarraju. Announcing her inclusion, Venkat Prabhu tweeted, "Welcome aboard The most happening @IamKrithiShetty."

A couple of hours later, it was also announced that father-son duo Ilaiyaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja will jointly compose the music for this movie. Announcing their arrival, the film's production house Srinivasaa Silver Screen tweeted, "It only gets more exciting than ever before. Welcoming the Legendary Music Maestro, Isaignani @Ilaiyaraaja garu & Young Maestro @thisisysr Onboard. It's not done yet. Updates awaiting for you all."

Reportedly, the regular shoot of NC 22 will begin on July 15. More updates regarding the rest of the cast and crew will be announced soon.
