Kriti pins big hopes on Prabhas for a successful Telugu comeback
Meanwhile, star heroine Kriti Sanon is making a comeback into Telugu cinema with Adipurush
HYDERABAD: After South Indian films became pan-India hits, many Bollywood actors are entering the South Indian film industries. Especially, most of them are focusing on Telugu cinema. While senior Bollywood heroes are becoming villains in Telugu cinema, young heroines are bagging big Tollywood offers as leading ladies.
Last year, the likes of Alia Bhatt and Ananya Panday entered the Telugu film industry. Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor will be making her debut with NTR Jr's Devara. Meanwhile, star heroine Kriti Sanon is making a comeback into Telugu cinema with Adipurush.
Kriti made her acting debut with the 2014 film 1: Nenokkadine. Later, she was seen in Naga Chaitanya's Dohchey. After that, she concentrated on Hindi cinema and attained stardom there. After a gap of more than eight years, she is coming back to Tollywood with Adipurush.
Directed by Om Raut, this mythological epic features Prabhas as the lead hero. There are high expectations riding on this biggie. If Kriti scored a blockbuster with it, she may bag a few more pan-India projects.
Thus, Adipurush is an important project for her career. We have to see if she can make a striking comeback into Tollywood with this movie.
