Lucifer part 2 to be a pan-World project
Malayalam super star Mohanlal teamed up with actor Prithviraj Sukumaran for the prestigious project Lucifer
Malayalam super star Mohanlal teamed up with actor Prithviraj Sukumaran for the prestigious project Lucifer. Prithviraj made his debut as a director with the film. The movie ended as a big blockbuster in Malayalam cinema, and the team is now getting ready with the sequel, L2: Empuraan.
Interestingly, the makers are projecting the film as a pan-World film. In the recent past, Nag Ashwin is the only director who proudly declared that his film Project K is a pan-World film. Now, Prithviraj Sukumaran too joined the list.
As per the speculation in the Malayalam media, the second part of Lucifer will reportedly be made on a massive budget of Rs 400 crore rupees. The script work is completed, and Prithviraj adjusts his schedule to jump on the project and begin the shoot.
Billed to be a full-fledged commercial entertainer like the first part, the film's second part is also expected to do well at the box office. Lucifer part one fetched over Rs 200 crore at the box office, and it boosted the confidence of the team to aim high.
Murali Gopy, who penned the script of Lucifer, also wrote the script of Empuraan. Antony Perumbavoor is the film's producer.
