HYDERABAD: Manchu Vishnu, the President of Maa, recently announced plans to celebrate 90 years of Tollywood in Malaysia. He stated that movie celebrities' opinions have been considered, and arrangements are being made to hold these ceremonies in July. These celebrations aim to showcase the glory of Telugu cinema to audiences worldwide, with more updates to follow soon.

During the press conference, Manchu Manoj made interesting comments regarding Tollywood stars Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, and Prabhas. He acknowledged Chiranjeevi's achievement of being the first Telugu actor to receive the Padma Vibhushan award and praised Allu Arjun for his Best Actor award, highlighting his popularity even in Kerala.

Vishnu also noted Prabhas's status as the highest-paid actor in India. However, there have been criticisms regarding the industry's failure to adequately honor these stars. Regarding the upcoming celebrations, there is speculation that special honors may be bestowed upon these actors, although no official updates have been provided yet.

Meanwhile, Manchu Vishnu is currently involved in the Pan India film "Kannappa," which is being shot briskly in New Zealand. The movie, with a budget of approximately 150 crores, is produced by Ava Entertainment under the banner of 24 Frames Factory.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the director of the Mahabharata series, the film features Malayalam actor Mohanlal and others. Prabhas is rumored to play Parameshwar in the movie. Mani Sharma and Stephen Devasi are composing the music for the project.
