HYDERABAD: Megastar Chiranjeevi was last seen in the film Bhola Shankar. Regrettably, the movie encountered a staggering setback at the box office, failing to substantially impact its opening day. Tragically, the film's underperformance has translated into financial losses for its producers and another unfortunate letdown for director Meher Ramesh.

Compounding the astonishment, a Northern distributor had initially slated the film's release for August 25. However, the Northern audience exhibited a complete lack of interest in the movie, prompting the distributor to cancel the Hindi release of "Bholaa Shankar."

The primary individual shouldering the weight of this outcome is the megastar himself, Chiranjeevi, who has been subjected to vehement criticism for his script choices.

Some netizens believed that the film's failure should not rest solely on his shoulders. Instead, they attributed the downfall to Meher Ramesh's lackluster storyline and flawed execution.

Regardless of the underlying factors, the Hindi rendition of the film never took off, fortuitously sparing Northern viewers from this ordeal.

In key roles, Bhola Shankar featured Keerthy Suresh, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sushant, and others. The film is bankrolled by Anil Sunkara under the AK Entertainments banner.
