Initially, Nagarjuna considered launching writer Prasanna Kumar Bezawada as the director of his project. However, due to creative differences, the decision was made to have Prasanna Kumar serve as the script and dialogue writer instead. Choreographer Vijay Binni is reportedly in talks to direct this project. Sources have revealed that Nagarjuna acquired the remake rights after discovering that Prasanna Kumar's script was loosely inspired by "Porinju Mariam Jose."

Furthermore, it's been heard that Nagarjuna was impressed by the character created by Sekhar Kammula for Dhanush's film and readily agreed to be a part of it. This means that Nagarjuna will be simultaneously shooting for both of these projects, giving his fans a double dose of excitement to look forward to.
