No change in Godfather's release date

Megastar Chiranjeevi's Godfather is one of the most anticipated films of this year. Directed by Mohana Raja, this movie is an official remake of the 2019 Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer.

The teaser of the film was unveiled a few weeks ago and the makers have officially stated that the movie will hit the screens on October 5, on the occasion of Dasara.

However, rumours started popping up on social media over the last few days stating that the release has been pushed to December due to the delay in the shoot. It was further added that many small-budget films are lining up for the Dasara release.

Finally, producer NV Prasad issued a press note rubbishing all rumours. He stated that the film will release on October 5 and there is no delay in , it. He further added that the promotions will begin in a few days.

Godfather features Nayanthara, Salman Khan, Sunil and Satya Dev in the other key roles. It will hit the screens in both Telugu and Hindi. Thaman is composing the music for it.
