Ranbir also stated that he and Alia were planning to have children for a long time and added that they want to have lots of children in their life.

When Alia announced her pregnancy, there were trolls saying that it was a promotional stunt by the couple for their upcoming film Brahmastra.

Responding to the same, Ranbir said that they felt it was the right time to announce the news and share the joy. He stated that there was no hidden intention behind it.
