HYDERABAD: Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who achieved tremendous success with the film "Leo," featuring Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha as a couple, witnessed significant box office success. Following the triumph of "Leo," Lokesh is gearing up for his next project with Superstar Rajinikanth, and he is presently immersed in the scriptwriting process.
However, amidst his busy schedule, a peculiar petition has been filed against Lokesh Kanagaraj. Raju Murugan from Madurai has submitted a petition to the Madurai High Court bench, urging for psychological tests to be conducted on the director.
The petition calls for a ban on "Leo," citing its violent content, and proposes psychological evaluations for Kanagaraj. The petitioner expressed concerns about scenes in "Leo" that allegedly incite violence, featuring elements such as the use of weapons, consumption of drugs, religious symbols, and violence against women and children.
The petition explicitly seeks a complete ban on the film. Unfortunately, the case faced an adjournment as Kanagaraj's legal representatives were reportedly absent from the proceedings. However, people on social media think that this is something being done only to grab some attention.
