Pokiri re-release in record number of screens

Superstar Mahesh Babu and Ileana played the lead roles in the super hit film Pokiri. Directed by Puri Jagannath, the film will have a re-release on the 9th of August, marking Mahesh Babu's 47th birthday. Pokiri re-release advance bookings are in progress grandly. The fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the film and to experience the movie on the big screen once again.

The craze around the film's re-release is extremely high. The fans organized a massive 135-plus show across the twin Telugu states. The film is now creating a record by becoming the first Indian film to have the highest number of special shows during the re-release. The film is also releasing big in overseas. Across the world, the movie is scheduled for a grand release in a record number of screens.

Pokiri was initially released on April 28th, 2006. Directed by Puri Jagannath, the film was bankrolled by Indira Productions and Vaishno Media. Mahesh's sister Manjula Ghattamaneni is one of the producers. The film bought stardom to Ileana who played the female lead in the film. Mani Sharma is the film's music director.
