Popular OTT platform bags Liger's streaming rights

Vijay Deverakonda's Liger has hit the screens today. Directed by Puri Jagannath, this action drama features Ananya Panday as the female lead. Ramya Krishna, Ronit Roy, Mike Tyson and Getup Srinu played the other important roles in it.Here is an update about the OTT partner of this film.

The digital rights of Liger are bagged by popular streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar. The Telugu satellite rights are bagged by Star Maa. We hear that both satellite and digital rights of this movie were sold for a fancy price.

Meanwhile, Liger may not premiere on OTT until 8 weeks after its release, as per the new rule implemented by the Producer's Guild. Thus, we may see the film sometime in the last week of October. The film got thumping openings across the Telugu states today. It is all set to become Vijay's highest opening day grosser. The film's box office fate depends on the word of mouth it gains today.
