Prabhas and Nayanthara to play Lord Siva & Parvathi in Manchu Vishnu's Kannappa
Lady Superstar Nayanthara will also be part of the 'Kannappa' cast, alongside Prabhas
HYDERABAD: It has been a long-known fact that Prabhas would play a significant role in Manchu Vishnu's ambitious project, 'Kannappa.' Although Manchu Vishnu hasn't officially confirmed this news, he has hinted at it. The movie is being directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, known for his work on the 'Mahabharata' series.
Recently, it has also been revealed that Lady Superstar Nayanthara will also be part of the 'Kannappa' cast, alongside Prabhas. This exciting news was shared by actress Madhubala, who will be playing another significant role in the film, during a video interview.
Madhubala stated, "I will soon be working on the film 'Kannappa,' which also features Prabhas and Nayanthara."
Interestingly, Prabhas and Nayanthara have shared the screen before in the film 'Yogi.' However, their pairing in 'Kannappa' marks their on-screen reunion after nearly 15 years. In this film, both actors will be portraying the roles of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
Initially, Nupur Sanon was chosen as the female lead for the movie. However, she had to withdraw from the project due to scheduling conflicts. The entire shooting for 'Kannappa' is scheduled in New Zealand. The film is being produced by Mohan Babu.
