Prabhas-Maruthi film to hit the floors in September

It is already known that Prabhas is teaming up with director Maruthi for a supernatural horror-comedy. Though the movie is in the news for a long time now, there is no official announcement about it yet. Meanwhile, we hear a word about the project from its producer DVV Danayya.

In a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Danayya said that Maruthi has begun the pre-production works of the film and is expected to finish them soon. He said that the schedules are also locked.

He further added that they are planning to take the project on floors in September. The entire shoot will happen in India. Danayya stated that the leading lady of the movie is not finalized yet, and the makers will lock the heroine within the next ten days.

We hear that the film will feature three female leads. Apparently, one of them will be Malavika Mohanan. The other heroines are yet to be finalized.

This will be the first project in the combination of Prabhas and Maruthi. After the failures of Manchi Rojulochaie and Pakka Commercial, there is huge pressure on Maruthi to score a hit with this movie. More details about the project are expected to be announced soon.
