HYDERABAD: Grammy and Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman's live concert in Pune came to an abrupt end on Sunday when the police stopped the show due to a time limit violation. According to reports, Rahman exceeded the permissible deadline of 10 pm, and police officials who were at the venue requested him to stop the show.

Rahman was singing his last song when the officials approached him, and he immediately complied with their request. Reacting to the incident, Pune Police issued a statement saying that Rahman had exceeded the permissible time limit.

Meanwhile, Rahman took to Twitter on Monday and shared pictures from the concert, thanking his fans for their support and promising to return soon. The concert took place at Raja Bahadur Mills in Pune, and the timings of the show were from 8 pm to 10 pm.

AR Rahman is known for his musical compositions in movies like Slumdog Millionaire, Roja, and Bombay. He recently composed music for Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2, and was seen promoting the film with the cast.
