HYDERABAD: The filming of "Pushpa: The Rule" has seen a relief with the return of actor Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari to the sets. Recently granted bail after his December 2023 arrest on charges of alleged abetment of suicide, Jagadeesh resumes his pivotal role as Kesava, Pushpa's right-hand man.

The comeback of the actor marks a crucial moment for the film's production, which faced delays in his absence. However, it also sparks debates about the ethical considerations surrounding an actor's involvement in a film while facing serious legal allegations.

While the bail allows Bandari to continue working, the accusations against him remain. Currently, the actor is participating in the shooting of the Gangamma Jaathara sequence in Hyderabad, with plans for the filming to move to other locations soon.

Reports suggest that the production house of "Pushpa 2" provided legal support for Jagadeesh, aiding in his release from jail. This support is attributed to the necessity of having him present alongside the leading man, Allu Arjun, for a significant portion of the film's shoot.

As of now, it appears that the shooting will proceed smoothly with the young actor's presence, unless opposing parties contest his bail in court.
