HYDERABAD: 'Superstar' Rajinikanth has a filmography of having the most successful films, most commercial films, and also most cult films. 'Padayappa,' 'Arunachalam,' 'Baasha,' and even 'Robo,' he has this unique skill of making any sort of film into a mainstream-commercial blockbuster.

During his lifetime, very few times did Rajinikanth go out of his role to make a movie. He managed to produce a couple of films and even made cameos to get hype for the film. But there's one film he actually wrote, produced, and wanted to direct but gave to his most trusted filmmaker, Suresh Krissna. The film is 'Baba.'
