HYDERABAD: Ram Charan recently traveled to the US in preparation for the Oscars 2023, where RRR's Naatu Naatu has been nominated for Best Original Song. During a talk show appearance, Ram Charan discussed the themes of friendship, fraternity, and brotherhood present in the worldwide blockbuster film RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli. The actor praised Rajamouli's writing and hoped that he would soon find recognition in global cinema. Ram Charan said that Rajamouli is Steven Speilberg of India.

Ram Charan also credited Indian film and technicians for the Golden Globe win of the song Naatu Naatu, stating that it was a tribute to Indian cinema. He expressed his excitement over the fact that the Golden Globes, Academy Awards, and other critics' awards had recognized them, not just for RRR, but for Indian cinema and technicians as a whole. Additionally, it was announced that RRR would be re-released in the United States on March 3.

Ram Charan's next project is S Shankar's RC15, where he will be seen sharing the screen with Kiara Advani. The movie is jointly produced by Dil Raju and Shirish Garu under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations and will be released pan-India in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
