Popular writer Paruchuri Gopala Krishna gives his opinion about various films on his Youtube channel regularly. Recently, he spoke about Megastar Chiranjeevi's latest film Waltair Veerayya. He appreciated the writing of the film and heaped praises on director Bobby Kolli.

Paruchuri said, "Waltair Veerayya features a very simple story but it was done in a beautiful manner. Ravi Teja played Chiranjeevi's brother in the film. If Ram Charan acted in that role, it would have not looked good. After watching Ravi Teja's performance, I felt that Ram Charan wouldn't have suited that character. His body language was great in the film."

Paruchuri opined that the film would have not become a hit if the director focused more on the love tracks between Chiru and Shruti Haasan as well as Ravi Teja and Catherine Tresa. He stated that Chiru's performance in the scenes where he reveals that he has vertigo disorder was astounding.

"The dialogues were great. The twists and turns made the film more interesting. Chiranjeevi brought back his vintage body language in the movie," he went on to add. Paruchuri appreciated Catherine and Prakash Raj for their performances. He opined that their acting helped the movie in becoming a bigger success.
