HYDERABAD: Bollywood insiders have been abuzz with revelations about director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's highly anticipated film, "Animal," causing quite a stir due to its content and runtime.

Inside sources have divulged that "Animal" is set to clock in at a whopping 3 hours and 30 minutes, a length that has been confirmed by T-Series, who have received the final censor copy with this runtime intact.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's debut movie, "Arjun Reddy," initially ran for over four hours but was later trimmed by more than an hour, as there were concerns that the lengthy runtime might not find favor among theater audiences.

However, "Animal" won't be making the same substantial compromises. There are reports that the film's leading man, Ranbir Kapoor, firmly backs this decision. If this holds, it might necessitate the introduction of two intervals during the screening, a practice that's been employed before, notably by Aamir Khan in "Lagaan" and Salman Khan in "Hum Aapke Hain Koun."

Sandeep Reddy Vanga faces a considerable challenge in holding the attention of theatergoers for such an extended duration. Yet, it's been rumored that "Animal" is an extraordinary cinematic experience, with early viewers reporting that it manages to keep them entertained without a single dull moment.

The complete details, along with the official announcement, is expected to be out soon.
