HYDERABAD: In 2024, Sankranti witnessed the release of four films, at the box office. While Mahesh Babu and Trivikram's collaboration, 'Guntur Karam,' made its debut on January 12, another notable release was 'HanuMan,' a small-budget film directed by Prashant Varma and featuring Teja Sajja as the protagonist.

Following closely, Venkatesh-starrer 'Saindhav,' directed by Shailesh Kolanu, hit the screens on January 13, and 'Naa Sami Ranga,' starring Nagarjuna, Allari Naresh, and Raj Tarun, directed by Vijay Binny, was released on January 14.

As of today since the first movie's release, the competition for the Sankranti winner is ongoing among these films.

On the day of the initial release, Prashant Varma introduced a superhero movie, 'HanuMan,' using innovative graphics, with Teja Sajja portraying the titular character.
