After a prolonged courtship, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the queen bee of the South Indian film industry, tied the knot with actor Naga Chaitanya in a picturesque wedding ceremony in Goa. However, the shockwave hit when the couple publicly announced their divorce.
Subsequently, Samantha faced the challenge of myositis, raising speculations about her potential reentry into marriage or another relationship. During a casual interaction with her followers on Instagram last Sunday, one curious follower asked Samantha about her thoughts on getting married again.
According to Samantha, considering the statistics, it would be a "bad investment." She delved into the numbers, citing divorce rates of 67% and 73% for second and third marriages, respectively, compared to around 50% for first marriages.
Drawing on her background as an economics graduate, Samantha presented a statistical perspective on the complexities of subsequent marriages. However, she acknowledged the unpredictability of human emotions, stating that one never knows when they might fall in love again.
On the work front, Samantha is busy with the web series Citadel and she is yet to sign her next film in Telugu.
