HYDERABAD: Siddharth is one of those actors who is politically outspoken. He often faces backlash from people for his political stance. Once again, he made it to the headlines for speaking against the authorities. Recently, Siddharth took to social media to speak against the CRPF personnel who allegedly harassed his parents at the Madurai Airport.

He also said that the officer repeatedly spoke in Hindi even after being told to speak in English. In his Instagram story, Siddharth wrote, "Harassed for 20 mins @ Madurai airport by CRPF. They made my senior parents remove coins from their bags! And repeatedly talked to us in Hindi after being told to speak in English. Rude AF:( When we protested they said in India, this is how it is. Jobless people showing off power."

A section of netizens on social media supported Siddharth and shared such similar experiences they faced in Airports. On the other side, another section of people criticized the actor for disrespecting government officers and criticizing the language they speak in. On the career front, Siddharth will be next seen in Kamal Haasan's Indian 2, which is being directed by Shankar.
