Sunny Leone tastes second shock in Tollywood
Sunny Leone needs no introduction to Indian film audiences. She is a popular actress in Bollywood
Hyderabad: Sunny Leone needs no introduction to Indian film audiences. She is a popular actress in Bollywood and also worked on quite a few South Indian films in the past.
She recently made a comeback to Telugu cinema with the film Ginna. Starring Manchu Vishnu and Payal Rajput in the other lead roles, this film was released last Friday.
Speaking in a recent interview, Sunny said that this is the first Telugu film in which she acted in a full-length role. Apparently, she heard this script during the lockdown. As it was a psychological thriller, Sunny gave it a nod. She said that she is a big fan of such films.
She also said that she plays a role named Renuka in this movie. Apparently, it is a mute character so there will not be any dialogue for her. This is indeed surprising news.
Sunny made her Telugu debut with Manchu Manoj's Current Theega. She played a guest role in it. She was at a peak stage of her career at that time, but still, her appearance didn't help the movie, and it ended up as a flop.
Now, Sunny is not at the prime stage of her career. Moreover, she doesn't have any dialogue in the film. Usually, it is challenging to seek acceptance from audiences in such a role. Much to everyone's disappointment, her character did not get any praise.
In fact, the film is dubbed as a disaster by the trade, and not even a single actor received appreciation. Sunny Leone's presence is expected to bring huge laurels but her efforts went wasted.
