Recently, Chandoo Mondeti met with Suriya, sparking discussions about their collaboration
HYDERABAD: Chandoo Mondeti, the mastermind behind the captivating spiritual thriller "Karthikeya 2" that starred Nikhil, has successfully captured the imagination of audiences nationwide. Now, the director is venturing into exciting projects, including one with Naga Chaitanya and another with the versatile actor Suriya.
Recently, Chandoo Mondeti met with Suriya, sparking discussions about their collaboration. Their collaboration will bring to life a film centered around the four Vedas – Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda, and Atharvaveda. This socio-fantasy film holds great promise, and despite Suriya's busy schedule for the next couple of years, he actively keeps in touch with Mondeti to track the script's progress.
On the other hand, Chandoo revealed that his upcoming venture with Naga Chaitanya promises to be a gripping and engaging entertainer that will portray the young actor in a fresh light.
Naga Chaitanya will portray the role of a humble fisherman. Set in the villages of Srikakulam, where the profession of fishing is prevalent, the film delves into the lives of fishermen who spend most of the year at sea, returning to their families only briefly. The heart of the story lies in the struggles faced by the families when the fishermen are stranded in Pakistan.
Chay's film will hit the floors first and Chandoo may direct Suriya next year.
