HYDERABAD: Director Ram Gopal Varma has announced that he is postponing his films "Vyuham" and "Sapatham." Initially slated for release on February 23, Varma cited technical reasons for rescheduling the release dates to March 1 and 8, respectively.

RGV clarified that the delay was not due to Lokesh but rather logistical challenges in securing as many theaters as anticipated, especially with approximately nine other films set for release on February 23.

"Vyuham," produced by Dasari Kiran Kumar under the Ramadhuta Creations banner, features Ajmal and Manasa in lead roles. The film chronicles YS Jagan's ascent to Chief Minister following YS Rajasekhar Reddy's demise, spanning the first part of his tenure. Varma's decision to stagger the releases has intensified curiosity surrounding both films, generating heightened anticipation among audiences.

RGV tweeted, "VYOOHAM film and SHAPADHAM film are being postponed to March 1st and March 8th but this time it is NOT BECAUSE OF LOKESH ..It is due to certain technicalities , wanting to do more promotion and also because we are getting better preferred theatres on those dates."
