Teja clarifies his controversial statements on Pushpa's collections
Recently, director Teja made it to the headlines for his comments on Pushpa's collections
HYDERABAD: Recently, director Teja made it to the headlines for his comments on Pushpa's collections. In his interview with a news daily, Teja said that Allu Arjun's Pushpa is a loss venture for a few of his friends who own theatres in Andhra Pradesh. This comment went viral all over social media and Allu Arjun's fans started attacking Teja.
Finally, Teja did another video to clarify his statement. He said, "Pushpa is a blockbuster movie. But the earnings of the film appeared like 'flop film's collections' because the ticket rates of the movie were low in Andhra Pradesh. On the flip side, an average film made blockbuster collections in AP due to the hiked ticket rates.
He clarified that that is all he wanted to convey with his statements and nothing else. He further added that he doesn't have any moral right to comment against other films' collections and stated that he himself didn't make only hit films or only flop films in his career.
Currently, Teja is busy with the works of his upcoming film Ahimsa, which features Abhiram Daggubati as the lead hero.
