This director may start a film with Charan or Mahesh at any time

After going through a rough phase for the last few years, director Gautham Menon came back strong with his new film Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. Starring Simbu in the lead role, this Tamil gangster drama is termed a hit at the box office. Even its Telugu version, Life of Muthu, is having a decent run in theatres.

In Telugu, Gautham Menon worked with heroes like Nani, Naga Chaitanya and Venkatesh. In the past, he was supposed to work with Mahesh Babu as well. But it didn't happen. It was heard that he made the same script with Naga Chaitanya and the film was Ye Maaya Chesave.

Later, reports flew in saying that Gautham is teaming up with Ram Charan. Even this project didn't materialize for some reason.

Speaking in a recent interview, Gautham said that he was supposed to work with Mahesh and Charan in the past but it didn't happen due to some reasons. "However, I didn't stop trying. Our films may start anytime," he further added.

As Gautham is back on the success track now, we have to see if Mahesh or Charan shows interest in working with him.
