Tollywood Box-Office: Pareshan, Ahimsa & NSS fails to entertain the audiences
Last weekend, three films were released in theaters: 'Nenu Student Sir,' 'Pareshan,' and 'Ahimsa'
HYDERABAD: Last weekend, three films were released in theaters: 'Nenu Student Sir,' 'Pareshan,' and 'Ahimsa.' However, despite their release, these films, which did not feature notable actors, received a lackluster response from audiences.
'Pareshan,' a rural Telangana comedy presented by Rana Daggubati, performed relatively better in Hyderabad than in other films. However, it did not achieve success and fell short of expectations.
Similarly, 'Nenu Student Sir,' starring Bellamkonda Srinivas, had a slightly better storyline but failed to captivate audiences, resulting in poor box office performance.
Directed by Teja, 'Ahimsa' marked the debut of Rana's brother Abhiram as the lead actor. Unfortunately, the film received negative reviews from critics and faced dismal collections in all areas.
On the other hand, the holdover film 'Mem Famous' fared comparatively better at the box office.
Despite the ongoing summer holidays, Telugu films are struggling to attract audiences, and the box office is currently going through a dry spell.
