Tollywood Mega Prince Varun Tej gets engaged to Lavanya Tripathi in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Proving all the speculation right, Tollywood Mega Prince Varun Tej Konidela and actress lavanya Tripathi got engaged at Nagababu’s residence in Hyderabad on Friday evening. Varun Tej’s uncles and Megastar Chiranjeevi and Power Star Pawan Kalyan and cousins Ramcharan, Allu Arjun were among the celebrities, both from within the family and the Tollywood fraternity who attended the engagement ceremony.

Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi have been in the news for quite some time for their romantic relationship. In the last few weeks, the media was abuzz with the speculation of the couple finally deciding to culminate their love affair in marriage. It was predicted that the two would get engaged on June 9, 2023 in Hyderabad until Varun Tej’s father Nagababu confirmed the news a few days back.

On Wednesday, it was announced that the charismatic actor couple were ready to take the next step and get engaged. The official news has brought immense joy to fans and followers of the couple. On Friday, as the mega fans waited with bated breath, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi exchanged rings in the presence of family members and close friends.

The engagement ceremony, eagerly anticipated by their admirers, was completely a private affair with the presence of Varun and Lavanya's families. The members from both the Mega and Allu families graced the event.

Meanwhile, Varun Tej is immersed in his upcoming film 'Gandheevadhari Arjuna,' slated for release soon. He is also involved in a pan-Indian project where he portrays an Indian Air Force pilot, directed by debutant Shakti Pratap Singh Hada. Additionally, Varun has taken up Karuna Kumar's project, known for his directorial debut with the acclaimed film 'Palasa.'

The wedding date, however, has yet to be finalized, as both actors are currently busy with their respective film commitments.
