Tollywood Rewind: Biggest Flops of 2022 at the Box Office

HYDERABAD: 2023 is just two days away and the whole world is getting ready to welcome the new year. This year turned out to be a decent 12 months for the Telugu film industry. We have witnessed some big hits like RRR, Sita Ramam and Bheemla Nayak. But there are also big misses which failed miserably at the box office. Here is a look at them.

Radhe Shyam:

After Baahubali, Prabhas scored a flop with Saaho. Then, he took a two-and-a-half-year gap and came up with Radhe Shyam. This romantic drama became a disaster and disappointed Prabhas's fans.

Acharya:

Megastar Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan teamed up for the first time for this Koratala Siva directorial. This action drama garnered negative talk right from the first show and ended up being the biggest disaster in Chiru's career.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata:

Though makers promoted it as a hit, it is a universal truth that Superstar Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata is a disappointing venture both for his fans as well as the trade circles.

Liger:

Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannath's action drama Liger proved to be the biggest pan-India disaster we have ever witnessed. There is no need to say anything more.

Apart from these, King Nagarjuna's The Ghost, Ravi Teja's Khiladi and Ramarao on Duty and Naga Chaitanya's Love Story remained as the biggest disasters of 2022.
