We are already aware that the shootings in the Telugu film industry will be halted from today. The Producers Guild decided to halt the shoots until they discuss and come up with a solution to the existing budget, OTT releases and the other issues of the industry.

Meanwhile, this decision will not affect the shootings of films in other languages. As per the reports, Thalapathy Vijay's next film Varisu's shoot is currently progressing in Vizag and it will not be halted. It is heard that the film is not a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, but a sole Tamil film. It will be dubbed into Telugu. Varisu is being helmed by Vamshi Paidipally and features Rashmika as the leading lady.

We hear that the remake of Chatrapathi's Hindi remake will also resume in Hyderabad's Aluminium Factory this week. Directed by VV Vinayak, this film features Bellamkonda Sreenivas as the lead hero. It marks Vinayak and Bellamkonda's entry into Bollywood.

A few days back, producer Ashwini Dutt stated that he will not stop the shooting of his upcoming film Project K. He said that the people who have increased budgets have now called for a strike.
