Tollywood tripping on 'Anirudh' mantra
However, it is reported that Anirudh is asking for a hefty remuneration, almost on par with the fees of a second-tier star hero
HYDERABAD: In recent years, the Telugu cinema industry has faced criticism for repetitive and mediocre music compositions. On the other hand, Anirudh has gained a monopoly in the Tamil film industry, delivering chart-topping music and captivating background scores for films featuring top-tier heroes. Impressed by his work, Telugu star heroes now demand producers to sign Anirudh as the music composer for their films.
However, it is reported that Anirudh is asking for a hefty remuneration, almost on par with the fees of a second-tier star hero. Despite the high demand and the hero's insistence, the producer has agreed to pay the exorbitant amount.
Anirudh has previously composed music for Telugu films such as Pawan Kalyan's "Agnyaathavaasi" and Nani's "Jersey." His music has received acclaim and created magic in movies like "Vikram," "Beast," and "Master." He has officially signed on to compose music for Vijay Deverakonda's next, directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, and NTR's "Devara."
Additionally, he is reportedly in talks for three other projects which includes Naga Chaitanya's next film, in the direction of Chandoo Mondeti.
