HYDERABAD: One of the Sankranthi race contestants this year is Nandamuri Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy. There are high expectations around this movie as it is Balayya's immediate project after the blockbuster film Akhanda. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, Veera Simha Reddy features Shruti Haasan as the female lead.
Recently, the makers released the theatrical trailer of the movie. As expected, Veera Simha Reddy is set in the faction backdrop and promises to be a high-octane action entertainer. The dialogues in the trailer are pretty impressive and strike a chord with the audience right away.
Balakrishna looks in two different shades in the movie. The trailer also gives us a glimpse of other actors from the movie like Shruti Haasan, Honey Rose, Duniya Vijay and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar. The action sequences look great and we feel that Balayya's fans will have a feast for sure.
The cinematography looks terrific and Thaman's background score is thumping. On the whole, Veera Simha Reddy looks like a perfect masala pot-boiler from Balayya and Malineni. We have to see how audiences receive it when it hit the screens on January 12.
