Viral: Rajamouli's cousin's statement on Adipurush

HYDERABAD: Yesterday, the teaser of the film 'Adipurush', starring 'Rebel Star' Prabhas was released and social media flooded with the pics & memes of the teaser. Although the planning & release of the teaser were very grand, the reception was not much. It pretty much accumulated a whole lot of negative reactions from the audience.

Most certainly, it was about the VFX work of the teaser. A whole lot of memes & trolls seem to be raised throughout the day. Although the fans were defending, even the Hindutva groups criticized & disowned the film. But no major celebrity has responded about this, although there's one from our industry.

Siva Sri Kanchi, the writer of 'Maryada Ramanna', 'Emo Gurram Egaravacchu' and much more has tweet cryptically, saying, "Mythologies should only be made by Telugus".

This opened up a huge discussion as it wasn't clear which film he was referring to. Recently, even Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan - 1' also received negative reviews. It seems that Kanchi made such a tweet that it hits both 'Adipurush' & 'Ponniyin Selvan - 1'. Regardless of this, nobody even opposed his views as this seems to be the feeling of the majority!
