HYDERABAD: Sai Dharam Tej's Virupaksha is having a dream run at the box office. A unanimous positive talk is helping the movie in getting big collections across all centres. Apart from the domestic circuit, Virupaksha is also having a great run in the USA.
According to the trade reports, Virupaksha crossed the half-million mark in the USA till Saturday night. Apparently, it collected around $504k so far. Prathi Roju Pandage ($555k) remains Sai Dharam Tej's biggest hit in the USA till now. Virupaksha is expected to break that feat in the first weekend itself.
More screens are added in the United States due to positive word of mouth. At this rate, Virupaksha may also join the million-dollar-club in a week. On the whole, it is set to become the biggest hit in Sai Dharam Tej's career.
Directed by Karthik Dandu, Virupaksha is a supernatural horror-thriller. Samyuktha Menon plays the female lead in it. Ravi Krishna, Rajeev Kanakala, Ajay, Sai Chand and Soniya Singh played other important roles in it. BVSN Prasad produced the movie and Ajaneesh Loknath of Kantara fame composed the music for it.
