In the wake of Vishal's accusations, it is reported that the board has yet to clear the censorship of upcoming Hindi and regional films. As a result, filmmakers are contemplating postponing the release of their films.

The incident that triggered these allegations occurred on the 28th of last month when Vishal was required to pay a bribe for the censorship of the Hindi version of the film 'Mark Antony,' in which he stars.

Vishal claimed he paid around Rs 6.5 lakh as a bribe for the film's censorship. He expressed willingness to tolerate corruption on screen but could not accept such practices in real life. He alleged that the concerned authorities demanded Rs. 3.5 lakhs for the censorship process and an additional Rs. Three lakhs for the certificate.

The central government is currently investigating the matter. More developments on the same are yet to come out.
