"What Pawan Kalyan did to me is wrong, but...."
This public attention sometimes spills over into his personal life, dragging his loved ones into the controversy
HYDERABAD: Pawan Kalyan is a prominent public figure in movies and politics. He is always under constant scrutiny and criticism due to his choices and actions, especially as he campaigns for the upcoming general elections in Andhra Pradesh for his Jana Sena Party. This public attention sometimes spills over into his personal life, dragging his loved ones into the controversy.
In a supportive gesture, Pawan Kalyan's ex-wife, and the mother of his children, Renu Desai, recently posted a video on her social media account. She urged those making negative comments about Pawan's personal life to refrain from involving their children in these discussions.
"There's no doubt that Pawan Kalyan put me through a lot which is not acceptable but I can confidently say that he's not someone who's money minded and he always want to help people," she said.
She emphasized that while it's acceptable to criticize adults if one chooses, it's crucial to leave the children out of it, as they are still young and innocent.
In her statement, she acknowledged the challenges she has faced due to her association with Pawan Kalyan but also highlighted that, despite any personal difficulties, she believes he has a good heart and genuine intentions to contribute positively to society. She expressed her continued support for him as someone who strives to make a positive impact on society, emphasizing his desire to do good.
Renu also stated that she's hurt each time her name is being dragged unnecessarily. She also requested the YSRCP leaders to not come up with any movie or webseries around her life.
"I am aware that a lot of people won’t understand why this post but I hope that we can keep the personal pain aside like I am doing and focus on the larger good of our society and underprivileged communities," she posted.
The video is currently going viral on social media.
