Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao is one of the most accomplished directors in Indian cinema. In a career spanning over six decades, Singeetham gave us many memorable films like Pushpaka Vimanam, Micheal Madana Kamaraju, Bhiarava Dweepam, and Aditya 369.
Recently, Singeetham participated in the popular chat show Alitho Saradaga and shared various insights about his life and film career.
During the interaction, Singeetham said that Veturi was supposed to write a song for Bhairava Dweepam. But he kept postponing it. When Singeetham needed it badly, he decided to write the song on his own.
When Veturi came back, Singeetham told him, "I've written a song. Please listen to it once. If you don't like it, please write a new one." Veturi listened to the song and told Singeetham to use it right away. The song is the super hit track, 'Virisinadhi Vasanthaganam'.
Singeetham also said that Balakrishna will be seen with a hunchback in some portions. Apparently, Balayya used to stay the whole day in that getup during the shoot of those portions. He shot 10 days in such a way. Singeetham revealed that one can't eat in that getup. Thus, Balayya used to live on juices during those 10 days and that too, he used to drink juice only with the help of a straw.
