Recently, he commented on the remuneration of Pawan Kalyan, and in another interview, he shared an interesting incident with Chiranjeevi where the Megastar had scolded Kota.
Kota Srinivasa Rao recalled a day when he and fellow actor Ms. Narayana had some free time on the set before the afternoon shooting. Deciding to use the time, Ms. Narayana suggested they go out for a drink together. They both had some alcohol and due to a mix-up, Kota Srinivasa Rao accidentally went to the shooting set while still under the influence.
Upon seeing him in that state, Chiranjeevi, the lead actor in the film they were shooting, got upset and scolded Kota Srinivasa Rao. Chiranjeevi expressed his disappointment, questioning why someone with a successful career would come to work drunk in daylight. He warned Kota Srinivasa Rao about the negative consequences such behavior could have on his reputation.
Reflecting on the incident, Kota Srinivasa Rao acknowledged that Chiranjeevi's admonishment was for his good, and he appreciated that Chiranjeevi cared enough to offer such advice.
