12,000 2BHKs to be distributed in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medchal next week

HYDERABAD: Telangana Animal Husbandry and Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Thursday said that the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) is constructing double-bedroom houses for the poor like nowhere else in the country to fulfill the dreams of poor and ensure their happiness.

He said that the distribution of double-bedroom houses would begin in Hyderabad, Rangareddy, and Medchal districts next month, benefiting a total of 12,000 people.

Speaking at Hyderabad Collectorate along with Minister Mahmood Ali after initiating the process of selecting beneficiaries for the double-bedroom houses, Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that the selection process of beneficiaries was going on transparently without the involvement of middlemen. He added that a lucky draw was being conducted to determine the beneficiaries.

Minister Talasani, who recalled Minister KTR's announcement to start house distribution in Quthbullapur on September 2nd, asserted that an online draw would be conducted for the first time in the country. He made it clear that eligible candidates were selected through random software developed by the National Informatics Centre.

The Sanathnagar MLA said that 12,000 people in each constituency of the Hyderabad district would receive houses with all types of facilities. He also accused past governments of constructing houses with minimal facilities.
