2023 Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix: Mahindra & Mahindra to provide course cars, guest lap vehicles

HYDERABAD: All course cars and vehicles for VIP guest laps at the inaugural 2023 Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix taking place on Saturday would be provided by Mahindra & Mahindra. This was announced by Formula E and Mahindra & Mahindra on Friday.
The electric vehicle selection will consist of six course cars and eight Mahindra & Mahindra XUV4000 vehicles for VIP laps. Making its debut in India, courtesy Mahindra & Mahindra, is the Battista, the pure-electric hyper GT by Italian luxury carmaker Automobili Pininfarina.
Together, they will showcase innovations inspired by the Mahindra Racing team and developed in cars designed for road use, accelerating the development of electric mobility and the future of sustainable and luxurious transport.
As one of the founding teams in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, Mahindra Racing has competed in all 103 Formula E races to date, securing 24 podium finishes and five race victories.
The 2023 Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix this weekend will be a home race for Mahindra Racing where thousands of passionate fans will cheer team drivers Lucas di Grassi and Oliver Rowland in the new GEN3 –the fastest, lightest, most powerful and efficient electric race car ever built.

Showing support for its electric race team, high-profile members of Mahindra & Mahindra including its Chairperson, Anand Mahindra and Managing Director and CEO Anish Shah as well as other special guests, will be attending the race.
In India, Star Sports Select 2 and Disney+ Hotstar will show all of the competitive action live from the 2023 Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix, with Disney+ HotStar the destination for all the Formula E action across the weekend.
