Asaduddin Owaisi blames AAP Govt in Delhi for adopting competitive Hindutva

AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi said that he sees no difference between AAP and right-wing organisations such as the RSS and the VHP.

HYDERABAD: Criticising the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP Government in Delhi for its decision to teach ‘Sundarakanda’ and ‘Hanumanchalisa’ in its schools every Tuesday, All India Majlis E Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi said that he sees no difference between AAP and right-wing organisations such as the RSS and the VHP.

The Majlis chief said that the Delhi Government had decided to teach these two in place of education and health subjects. “Please tell me what is the difference between you and the BJP? You are just following the RSS agenda. Someone says he is going to Sarayu River, and someone invited the President of India to visit Nasik. How you are going to fight with Narendra Modi then,” Asaduddin pointed out.

Calling the move as hypocritical, he called upon people with secular mindsets he say that a fight had begun on how to win the majority vote. He said he would call this as competitive Hindutva.” If anything happens, everyone blames me, but tell me who is responsible for this,” he said. He urged all secular forces in the country to put an end to the trend of competitive Hindutva.
