HYDERABAD: The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Madhya Pradesh Police, which arrested 16 persons including 11 in Bhopal and five in Hyderabad over alleged links with terrorist outfit Hizb-ut-Tahrir (HuT), have unearthed some shocking facts after cracking their code language during its probe.

The ATS, after grilling the youths in the case, has reportedly identified that a gym trainer named Yasir had extended vigorous training to some youths of Hyderabad and Bhopal at Raisen forest near Bhojpuri in Bhopal. The regimen was intended at preparing them to carry out terror strikes under the aegis of the HuT.

It is learned that the police also cracked the code language used by the terrorist group and identified that the arrested youths were trained as 'fidayi' (or fidayeen) forces, commonly known as suicide squads. The police seized, from the possession of the terrorists, as many as 50 audio and video recordings related to the code language.

The ATS also decoded the code language on bomb attacks and found that they had planned for large-scale bomb explosions at Rani Kamlapati Railway Station, Motilal Nehru Stadium and Berasia Dam in Bhopal and others.

The police identified that the HuT unit had amassed huge funds from abroad routed through hawala network to carry out its terror activities.
