HYDERABAD: HYDERABAD: BRS leader Krishank Manne was apprehended by Hyderabad city police at the Pantangi tollgate while en route to Hyderabad. He was detained following a complaint lodged against him by the Osmania University (OU) administration at the OU police station and subsequently taken to the Choutuppal police station.

Krishank’s wife Suhasini, daughter of former Union Minister Sarve Satyanarayana, raised serious concern about his “missing”. She is also an advocate.

Krishank took to 'X', alleging that he was detained while returning to Hyderabad from Kothagudem to attend the press conference of the BRS working president KT Rama Rao. He stated, "Police stopped us at the Panthangi Checkpost. Instead of inspecting the vehicle, they made us wait for the past 30 minutes, citing the arrival of higher officials."

The complaint, lodged by Chief Warden G Srinivas, alleged that a fabricated notice circulating on social media falsely claimed the closure of these facilities at OU, tarnishing the university’s reputation.

His wife Suhasini Krishnan took to 'X', alleging that her husband Krishank Manne is missing. She said, "Where is Krishank? He has not been taken to the Choutuppal police station nor has he arrived there. The police have prevented others, who were with Krishank, from following them. Why take him alone and prevent others from following?"
